I was born in Los Angeles in 1946 and raised in Southern California.  My college years were spent on the Central Coast of California where I earned a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from California State Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo in 1969.  I became a registered California architect in 1978 and spent almost all my 43 year professional career in Orange County, California as a partner at Architects Orange (currently AO).  At Architects Orange I specialized in retail commercial architecture, although I also had experience in office, industrial and multi-family residential architecture as well.  I retired from architecture in 2019.

My recently deceased wife Andrea and I have three grown daughters and four grandchildren.  I am currently living in the Sacramento area but I split time with San Luis Obispo where I maintain a second home.

This website demonstrates my attempt at a new journey into the art world.  My current art mediums are black and white pencil, color pencil, and ink on paper. I plan to attempt other mediums over time.

Oh, and I invented the skateboard.
